Do I have to be a jewellery designer to have a ring custom-designed?
If you need or want a piece of custom jewellery, we take care of everything from conceptualization to creation. Send us some inspiration – an image, an old piece of jewellery, etc. – and we will get back to you ASAP!
What if I don’t know what I want?
The internet is full of great ideas that can be amalgamated, or the local friendly neighbourhood goldsmith can help.
Why do we need to make a wax model?
The wax model is part of the lost wax casting process. The goldsmith produces a 3D model of the desired piece of jewellery. This allows for the result of the design to be reviewed and is the last chance to change the design.
Can I make platinum custom-designed jewellery?
Any piece of jewellery can be made into a platinum piece. We specialize in many different materials – please ask if you are interested in a custom platinum piece.
What style should I choose?
You should choose the style you like that fits your budget. We’d be happy to advise you on our metal and gemstone options.
What is redesigned jewellery?
Any time we melt or recycle jewellery, we call that redesigned.
Is custom design better than mass-produced jewellery?
There's more attention to what the customer wants and needs instead of a cookie-cutter mould that has been mass-produced.
