Swing by the corner of Birmingham and Queens. Kip will help facilitate any custom jewellery or repairs you need or want

I've been in the jewellery trade since I was 16. From looking over my father's shoulder to learning how to make and repair jewellery, owning my own business, working at Cadman Manufacturing, teaching at Georgian College, learning CAD design, and finally working in a retail atmosphere, jewellery is in my family's blood. I have multiple members in the field, from Windsor to the Niagara Region.

I moved here in July 2020 to take over the shop at 1551 Birmingham. I named the shop after my parents, the first employers in this trade. I had the skills to make the jewellery, I needed to figure out how to run this retail operation. I learned quickly that transparency and trust go a long way. Just do what you say you're going to do and try your best.

I hand forge, hand carve or cad design the jewellery here at 1551 Birmingham. I give back to the community; that’s the best way I know how to say thank you.

Thank you, Halifax, for giving me this opportunity.

Learning how to run this shop and getting to know Atlantic Canada has made me a better man and goldsmith.
